The brief
Getting a home ready to sell is a combination of balancing the budget with creating an overall style for your property that will be attractive to its target market. We refurbished the bathroom and kitchen to update it for the needs of a young family and drew the colour palette and style from parts of the house that were market ready. The owner installed the bathroom and kitchen himself to keep costs down and wherever possible we repainted or refurbished items that he already had to keep the budget manageable. Feature wallpapers are a particularly cost effective option for stamping a real sense of style on a space without having to spend lots of money – keep the pattern and style fairly conservative to ensure that your taste doesn’t put off prospective buyers.
