How the room came together.
The brief
The client had already had the garden and bathroom refurbished so we used these as the structure for the interior design style. Calm neutral colours were enlivened with bold stripes, textured velvets and simple large shapes in the furnishing and lighting to give the space drama without fuss and that would meld the interior and exterior spaces together. The privacy blinds in the rooms featured a beautiful undulating embroidery that looked like rain droplets coursing down a window, a theme that was carried through the sitting room and bedroom wallpapers to give a natural feel that shimmered with movement.
