This family home was developed to give a funky finish to an Edwardian house. A palette of moody greys, blues and olives works well with the wooden floors whilst blocks of rich warm pinks and oranges stop the look from tipping into sombre and help the rooms on the colder side of the house which tend to suffer from their northerly aspect. Waterproof wallpaper in a rich copper was used as a splashback in the kitchen whilst the bathroom tiles had a copper metallic fleck running through them to pull the theme into other rooms. Bedding was dip dyed to bring the painterly effect of the wallpaper into the master bedroom.
